Hi Selena,

I am just starting to build my own family tree and came across your post, I am the great-great grandson of Annie Bausor/Bansor, daughter of Joseph & Elizabeth.

My grandmother left some family information before she died and wrote that Joseph was head gardener of an estate and Elizabeth was a housekeeper at a gentleman's club, they lived in Eccles and Sale.  The youngest son (Frederick?) married Annie Kay, daughter of Herbert Kay, Alderman and one-time mayor of Eccles.

I hope this helps, if you have any more information about the Bausors I would be really keen to hear from you!

Nathan

no sign of Joseph and Elizabeths marriage on that site ?
the last baptism gives The Rookery being in Hope - I presume a small village near Pendleton ?

you will also notice that Frederick was the 2nd eldest and not the youngest son  :)

Hi Nathan!
At last a Bausor!
I do have a lot of info, not my own research but through a distant relative getting in contact through ancestry.
I'm going to have to unearth the info as I have been on my family tree for a few years (it's so addictive and time consuming).
The Bausors can be traced to Grantham in Lincolnshire. I have a photo of someone plus some old grave photos. I also have photos of my great grandmother and great great grandfather.
I actually managed to go back to Weobly in Herefordshire, Garston (I think one relative born near to Everton's football ground), then on to Salford. I still have cousins in Salford.
Let's keep in touch. Can you email? It's easier to swap things.
Enjoy growing your tree
Perfitt (possibly Ipswich, Suffolk/Surrey)
Druce (Bucks)
Parker Bucks)
Gurney (Redbourn, Herts)
Cotton (Manchester)
Bauser/Bausor (Manchester/Salford)

Hi Selena -  I live in Garston - Harry Bausor b 1871 Garston .
married Amy Edmonson in 1892 age 21 in Salford .
I would not of expected a Bausor b Garston - I presume his father worked with either Copper / Salt / Leather ( Tanning factory )- what religion was Harry - I may be able to get hold of his baptism record from one of our churches here  :)
