tweedmouth birth joanna lisle

|Baptism of Joanna Lisle born about 1821.  she married in Newcastle upon tyne england in 1839 have father as George Lisle.  Joanna was underage on marriage certificate.  Have all her details past 1839.  dont need those ones.  George her father born scotland cant find him either

From the census returns can you tell us where Joanna was born?

In 1841 I have found a Geoe Lisle, aged 50 living at Forth Street, Newcastle. He was a Blacksmith. His birthplace was written as Scot. As it is 1841 it doesn't give a relationship but I am presuming that Joanna Lisle, aged 50 and born in the county, was his wife. There was also a Martha Lisle, 15, and William Lisle, 5, both born in the county.
I know this isn't what you asked but is this the family you are reseaching do you think?

I don't normally cross over posts from other forums but your on-going post on the Lisles came up on general searches  :) www.british-genealogy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48120

I see that JAP (a previous RC member and phenomenal researcher) has been doing some searches on your post there. Such a lot of information has already been found  :D

Just thought that I would add the link here to avoid people repeating the searches that have already been done to date. This way what searches are done can hopefully add something new  ;)
