Born 1882 in Cape Town - died 23/1/1940. I am trying to find out what happened to any of his 6 children, Philip, Hilda Alberts, Joyce Schwamstead (both ladies married names are given), Vivian Robert, Noel and Alan and if anyone knows his exact date of birth, I believe he was born in June 1882.

Hope someone can help.

hi,
   james george was my grandfather,he died aged 57 and 7 months i have some documentation but his actual birth date is not listed.. years ago when my father vivien and joyce[his sister] were still alive i asked them that question and they did'nt know the exact date either.
   i know he played cricket in england for warwickshire. do you by any chance have a photo of him?

  also there was a brother james [ deceased]

Nice to hear from you.
I was hoping one of his children would know when his birthday was. No doubt you have looked at the cricket websites for his details and seen just 1882 birth.
I have a photo of him taken around 1910. If you could send anything you have that would be great, I have the death cert which gave me the children's names.
I'm researching Warwickshire cricketers from the past and am trying to get as much info on each player as I can, my email (*)
