Hi allI am looking for John Merry or Merrie and a Ann Margaret Smith ( I think she use the name Margaret for her first name )they married in Ochiltree, Ayr, Scotland 1831 Children Peter Merry born about 1830 in Tarbolton Mauchlin Ayrshire I think they had a few other children William , George , Agnes, John but not 100% sure any help I would be so grateful Cheers JanI am looking for info on Ann Margaret Smith. I have spoken with a distant cousin who told me she was illegitimate Her Mum was Margaret Smith and her Dad was Samual Black but they never married, apparently there is a family bible that had a lot information about all this but it has been accidentally thrown away, so it up to peoples memories now...
