Helen Hutton from Australia. Can anyone tell me anything about her or her family. I know she died 1st Aug 1937. I know she married James Steven Whittaker from Harlow, Essex, UK. and lived in
Monarto Sth Aust, but that' all I know.

Hi Troods  It doesn't really trouble me too much when someone is not listed in BISA. As it is partly of a submitted nature the submitter often did not have information on all of the family. It does seem they may be her parents particularly as I now see they were very young and did not arrive with children.

I didn't see if there is an entry for Helen's husband. Will do now.

I  maybe be missing something  here?  but you  would not  think  that Helen Hutton was  the Daughter of Robert and Christian  as  she was born  well after this couple arrived in South Australia and is  not showing as a birth to  them  but  then all births were not registered.

I  wondered if  she was  connected to Robert Hutton and Eliz Downey on whom we did a very detailed  thread last year, but  her birth does not appear to be registered in SA

I  could not see any  births  to  the James Wittaker and Helen Hutton  either

Mmmmm thats true Jenn, Helen's birth year according to her marriage details should be 1857 if my maths is correct.

Oh dear sorry to send everyone off on the wrong tangent with the entry that I mentioned in post 3.
