COMPLETED 1851 Census help please KNAPE family
« on: Friday 10 July 09 01:19 BST (UK) »
Hello, Could I please ask for some help with the KNAPE family in the 1851 census, I found them in 1841 but so far I have not been able to find them in 1851.

William KNAPE B  1811, Sarah abt 1816 at Cambridgeshire. Their children are..
Robert 1834, Charles 1835, Sarah 1838, William 1841, Richard 1847 and James 1849.

The family leave Gravesend 3 July 1852 and arrive at Portland, Victoria, Australia 12 Nov 1852 on the ship Helen.

In 1841 William, Sarah and Robert, Charles and Sarah are at Wisbeach, St Peter, Cambridgeshire.
William KNAPE marries Sarah PIGGOTT 5 Jun 1833 at St Peter, Wisbeach.

I have tried all I can think of if the names have been transcribed incorrectly, but I can't pick them up, hoping someone can help please.

Snowflake   :)

Thank you so much,  After your message I went through all the Wisbech St Peter districts and found them.  They still do not appear on Ancestry, I even tried other families on the same pages and they don't appear also.

I appreciate your help, Regards Snowflake   :D
