The Galtress family is a life long interest of mine ever since I found out it was my grandma's maiden name.

All the Galtress families eventually trace back to the York area and the ancient Forest of Galtres.
I have a detail tree of the Birkenhead branch and where they fit in .. the result of painstaking research by Eric Page in the 1970's and 1980's
