Is there a list of Devon marriages pre 1820?

I'm hoping someone has access to either a marriage cd for Devon or the books -if there is such a thing in the record office, as we're desperate to find out the maiden name of my 4x gt grandmother Elizabeth Chamberlain.

She married a second time to Thomas Bethell in Bishops Frome Herefordshire in 1820 -both were widowed.
Census records show she was born about 1779 and one says she was born in Ottery St Mary.

We know that she had a daughter Elizabeth Chamberlain from her first marriage, and that she was born about 1809 Exeter, but we can only find submitted records on IGI for a suitable marriage and I'm always wary of these.

We guess that Elizabeth (1779) must have married in Devon and around the 1799 -1809 period, but to who??

There are a fair few Chamberlains in Herefordshire as well and I'm wondering if there is any link?

Can anyone compile a list of Chamberlain marriages for this period of time for me that might fit? I'd be extremely grateful for any help

The Devon FHS has indexed all 500 parrishes' marriages 1754-1837, and you can ask for a search by surname. I would suggest asking for CHAMBERL*N to allow for spelling variants. I'm assuming that CHAMBERLAIN was her married name -correct? See http://www.devonfhs.org.uk/indexes.htm for details.

Thank you for this, it's a site I've not seen before - I just wish I knew where to start looking for Elizabeth -needle in a haystack comes to mind at the moment!
