I was searching with "google" and came across a listing of Galveston  County, Texas births --1927 which might be of interest.  Since the person may still be living, I'll send you a private message.  James Alphonse Raggio is listed as the father.

It looks like there may be a listing in the 1930 census for a James Raggio with wife, Irene, living in Galveston County, Texas.  I don't have an index to the 1930 census, so maybe someone else can take a peek and see if he is there.  He may be another son.

I found a death notice of James Raggio in the Galveston Daily News from 27 Feb. 1960.  It doesn't give any info on relatives, but says he was age 69, lived at 1107 Lilac in La Marque, was a retired grocer, and died at St. Mary's infirmary.  The funeral was being held at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in La Marque and he would be buried at Galveston Memorial Park.  The funeral home was Emken-Linlon Mortuary in La Marque.

My grandfather was James Alpbonse Raggio.  He married my grandmother irene and they had three daughters.  He never went by the name Jack.  He want by J.A.  He was a grocer.  I do not know anything about his family as he died when I was 4 and my grandmother did not care for his family.
I believe his relatives were from the Baton Rouge area.  I do know he had a cousin or nephew perhaps whose name was Donovan Michelle.
