I can't find that one you're referring to in 1920 with the other husband.

Thought this might be a match:

1930 Census, Port Neches, Jefferson Co., Texas, 684 Dallas St.
Raggio, Willie, head, rents home for $8.00, male, white, age 17, single, able to read & write, b. Texas, parents b. Louisiana, gen. clerk - tiling or filing station
mother Catherine, female, white, age 63, widowed, age at 1st marriage - 14, not able to read & write, b. Louisiana, parents b. Louisiana, no occupation

There's a Texas death certificate for Catherine here:
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start  It says she's widowed & died in Port Neches, so I think that 1930 Census is a likely match.

Also there is a death certificate for Willie Colquitt Raggio, son of James Raggio and Catherine Roy, born 27 Apr. 1912 in Hitchcock, TX.  There's also a Louisiana death record for Adelle Raggio, born about 1909 in Double Bayou, Texas, daughter of James L. Raggio & Katherine Roy.  That seems to match the Willie & Adele that Lisa found.

Looking on the mother's side, from the obituary that Shelley posted, Catherine Raggio has a brother, Andrew Roy.  Looking in the 1870 census, http://pilot.familysearch.org/
there is an Andrew Roy, wife Madeline, and 8 children living in Grand Chenier, Cameron, LA.--including Catharine and Andrew.  There is also a brother, named Cyprian, whose death information in LA is also on the above link.  It is stated on his death information that his parents are Andrew Roy and Madeline Lindstrom.

If this is indeed Catherine Raggio's family, you can view the images of 1880, 1870, and 1850 on the above link as well as some of the death information.   Andrew is Andre in 1860.

1860 Grand Chenier, Calcasieu, Louisiana
census taken the 3 & 4 of July, 1860

Andre Roy, 26, b. LA, farm laborer
Madeline Roy, 20, b. LA
Elias Roy, 3, male, b. LA
Mary Roy, 2, female, b. LA
Jessie Roy, 8/12, female, b. LA
Florine Roy, 20, b. female, b. LA

1870 they are still in Grand Chenier, but it is Cameron, LA

children are:
Elias
Mary
Elizabeth, 11, probably the Jessie from 1860
Cyprian, 9
Andrew, 8
Sarah A, 6
Henry, 4
Catharine, 2
William R, 1

in 1880 in Cameron Parish, LA
add the following children:

Eliza, 8
Emma, 6
Allice, 5
Samantha, 3
Erenna(?), 1 (appears to be Luella in 1900)

In the 1850 census, there is a Frosin Roy, in Vermillion Parish who has a child, Andre, who is the right age to be Catharine's father.

They seem to be mixed with a Miller family.

If you go to www.rootsweb.com there is a link to a Madeline Lindstrom b. LA whose parents are Elias and Mary Smythe Lindstrom.  Checking the 1850 census at the above link, there is an Elias Lindstrom, 47, planter living with Sarah (12) and Catherine (eight).  The rootsweb site states that Mary died in 1845.  Elias is supposed to have died in 1889 in Grand Chenier.

In 1870 he is living with a servant and in 1880, he may be identified as Ivan Elias Linds -- however looking at the image, it is Elias Lindstrom.  The last 4 letters have been misinterpreted as Ivan, thus shortening his last name to Linds.  It looks like he is living in the household of a Fany McCall.

At the very bottom of this article is some information on Elias Lindstrom and his daughter, Sarah Root.

And here is a family tree posted online for Elias Lindstrom

:D Oh, my, I never knew I had so many ancestors and relatives!!   Many, Many heartfelt thanks to all of you that have helped me in this search.  It will take me at least a week to put all this wonderful information together!  This is such a helpful site!   :D

Just one example -  I never knew where or when my great-aunt Clara Raggio (1884-1965) was married (1904) to Homer Broussard (1882- about 1986).  They were both favorite relatives of mine.  Uncle Homer was unusual - he always wore a tight black-silk cap on his head as he had had scarlet fever as a child and lost all of his hair.

Special thanks to Shellyesq, Lisa in Cal, and Genealisa!   :)

I still have not found the country of origin of my great grandfather James Alphonse {Jack} Raggio, whether he was born in Louisiana or in Italy, or if only his father (I don’t know his name) was born in Italy.   How can I find out?  I’ve looked at passenger lists – but no luck.  And I can’t find his birth either.   :(

August Raggio (called Uncle Gus) was Jack’s brother – he was a schooner captain.  My mother always referred to him as ‘Captain’.  He says he was born in Louisiana too.  But I haven’t ever found his birth.  I have a nice photo of him that I’ll post later for cleanup.  I’ve been looking at the wonderful photo restorations.
