Hello Ruskie,
David Mitchell is one of those Cambridge graduates that end up in comedy, however like so many of the Cambridge graduate comedians there is much more about the person. He is always worth watching on programmes such as QI and is often on Radio 4 topical/quiz programmes.
He teams up frequently with fellow Cambridge graduate Robert Webb.
They have written extensively for television and their credits include The Jack Docherty Show (Channel 5), Yes Sir, I can boogie (Radio 4), Children’s Hour with Armstrong and Miller (Radio 4), Armstrong and Miller (Channel 4), the 11 O’Clock Show (Channel 4), Big Train (BBC2) and TV To Go (BBC1); and as writer/performers for Comedy Nation (BBC2) and Bruiser (BBC2). They also wrote and performed their own sitcom pilot Daydream Believers for Channel 4 and their own sketch show for Choice called The Mitchell and Webb Situation.
They have won Baftas etc etc - maybe I am getting old, but I find their comedy a bit hit and miss, sometimes excellent, sometimes
