Looking for Holmes family.

I was looking at family trees for this family and they have Jean/Jane as Jane THIRWALL, but no one has the marriage.

John's birthplace is most likely Burnopfield in Co. Durham - just a wee bit up the Tyne from Gateshead:

Did you find anything on Robert's siblings on the tree that you found. Apart from sister Jane marrying Robert Alder, I can't find any definites.

YGD is very keen to find them and their descendants.

Free BMD are showing two female Alder/Elliott births - 1922 (Auckland) and 1923 (Morpeth). I think the 1923 is a definite because of the name.

I can't give the information because the person might still be alive.

When I looked at this last night there was nothing - see what happens when I go out for the day!

Not that I'd have been much good as most people on here can search online much more quickly and successfully than I can BUT I am probably going to Northumberland Archives in the next week or so - maybe Wed. or Fri.  I only have a couple of things I want to do so if there's anything crops up that can be checked out there let me know.
