G'day Everyone,

This is a just-making-sure:

James Williams was born May 02 1840, Stowford, Tavistock, Lifton, Devon (I hope that makes sense!)

His father is recorded as being Matthew Willliams, mother Susanna Pengally/Peagdley. Marriage of these two was August 20 1839, Cornwall.

Any record of siblings for James?

Susanna      age 47
Elizabeth  M.   age19

Richard    age 9      b. Ashburton  Devon

My forefather was a tailer at age 11 ... at least it was a livin'!

THe 1861 census shows Matthew to be 66, a dealer in Marine Stores, born Calstock, living in Liskeard.
