Three sisters who emigrated from Perthshire

Hi guys,
I'd appreciate any help you can provide with my searches for these 3 sisters. They are part of a fairly large family group in which the brothers all died young, or were killed in action in WW1.  The sisters emigrated - family stories tell us they went from Scotland to Canada (Isabella  & Ann(e) Keay) whilst Margaret/Marget Keay went to the USA.

Their parents were John Keay and Mary Innes, who brought up their family in Perth, Perthshire where John was a Dyer.
The 1891 Census shows us the 3 girls living in Perth, Scotland: including Margaret (born 1878, Abbotshall, Fifeshire)
A search of the Census in 1901 has shown our Margaret had moved out of her parent's home.

I know our Margaret married in Perth (March 1904) to a lad named James Dick (an Iron Moulder, born 1867, birthplace unknown - I suspect it may be Auchtermuchty, Fife). So then she would have been known as Margaret Dick in the USA.

I imagine that if any of them had had children, that would be remembered in the family...??!

Phew!  Any clues?

Well Thankyou very much to JustJean for your prompt, clear & thorough reply!

It looks like a good match:

Their birth details match well - as Abbotshall is part of Kirkcaldy. (James' age in the census entry should be 6 yrs older, though - if we believe his marriage cert! Often a landlady won't get all her boarders details correctly, eh?)

The destinations seem to match up, too. Margaret was heading for Hudson Falls, which is 5 miles South of Kingsbury in Washington (where James was boarding). Also he is occupied in the same trade as he was in at the time of his marriage in 1904.

It seems that Margaret set off for USA over a year after hubby James - I guess that makes sense, he  would need to make sure that he could make it, & find a place to live.

Can anyone suggest where can I look-up (online) now to find out whether this couple had any children?  Should be easier now we have a good guess about where they were living, I would think?

Thanks to all listers for their assistance with these ladies (US & Canadian).  You guys are coming up with so many details! It's amazing what records were kept, isn't it - wonder what folk will read about us in 100 yrs time!!

Anyway, those details you posted, shelleyesq, answer so many puzzles in one leap, I sure hope it's her.  Interesting that she was a widow, it gives me a window to search for a death record to see if her husband was named James.  Seems a pretty common name, when I search on a free online index! I've noticed on the US Resources forum that there are a few links I need to go see for better details in the Washington area.  Need to go study the local geography first, cos I haven't a clue except for what I glean from watching CSI!
