It is a puzzle have just about every thing regarding them except the birth details, there is a birth that kinda fits that found today its
Mar St Savior 1d 191 name is Mary Ann M LAUNDY.

family in them days did not seem to move about much on that side, all in or around Southwark/Blackfriars area

There well could have been a second marriage, but in 1911 census father in law living with son in law and daughter.
thought would need birth details to get her mothers name, is there another way.

I thought you were looking for an Ada?

You're going to have to be much more specific if I;m to follow your train of thought please!

Can you post your own transcription of the 1911 census please?

You are a star checked up your suggestion and lo and behold an Ada SMITH is there 1d 73 St Savior jun 1889, have been trying for weeks to find and was going round in circles trying different first names, as few of my lot I know did not use first name they were born with.
Thank you so much will send of for it and fingers crossed it will be right one.

That does sound promising!

I will move this thread to the London board now, as it mainly deals with that area - please post the outcome here when the certs arrive, especially if you need more help.

A little learning curve though - you do need to post much more information about what you've got.  It might be a pain for you to type it all out BUT it is much more of a pain to spend time looking for things that you already know!

Look forward to hearing from you when the cert arrives.

Kind regards, Arranroots  ;)
