Patrick Sarsfield GAC
« on: Friday 03 July 09 21:35 BST (UK) »
Hi there,

It turns out 2 of my ancestors were members of this gaelic team. I was wondering if anyone know anything about the team pre-1930? Is it likely that there would be team photographs around then?

Thanks for your time,

Arty

So far I haven't been able to get them on the telephone, it has rang out each time- I'll keep trying though! Yes their website is wonderful indeed, I've been reading through it a lot these past months.

Thank you for your time Aghadowey

Though not from Sarsfield, this club is nearby and there is a Joseph Magee found standing in last row, fifth from left.

Wow thank you for this and sorry for lack of reply. It has been a very long time since I have looked at family tree info. You have intrigued me. I want to get my research out again this weekend. This could be a relative. Do you have ancestral links to this club?
