Does anyone have or know where one could get a copy of the book, "History of Wexford Town" by Philip Herbert Hore? Quite old.

Hi there, after doing a search for the info you wanted, i found some info that said they didn't think the book was published.
If you do a search using Google, it should be the top link.

I did that search but it is just a brief history of Wexford. I don't know if this was published or not. The book I got the title from was the History of Patrick Sinnett by Walter Eye. In the book of Wexford Town there is a portrait of Col David Sinnett wearing the armor he wore at the storming of Wexford by Cromwell. This is the portrait I'm looking for. Or any information on a Patrick Sinnett b. 1752 in County Wexford.

The only other thing i can think of is to search Amazon, they have every book going.
I wouldn't mind a copy if you do find it as my mum comes from Wexford.
Good luck

That would be a find. My guess is that book is over 125 years old. I was hoping the Wexford Library would have a copy.

The History of Wexford Town and County was published in five volumes.
It was reprinted in the 1970s but I believe it is currently out of print. Some libraries will have copies for reference only.

After doing the google book search I was able to view the book online. However I'm not sure what vol. I was looking at since I didn't know there were additional vol. First The book I was looking for is titled "History of Wexford Town" not "Town and Country". It may be the same book but the one I'm looking for has a portrait of Col. David Sinnett in his armor he wore at the storming of Wexford. This Portrait is what I'm looking for. Or any other Sinnett paintings or photographs.
