Whitehaven News Death Announcement for December 1969 COMPLETED
« on: Thursday 25 June 09 21:14 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone,

Have found a family scenario where a Mother age 80 & her son of 60 years old were buried on the same day in December 1969 at Egremont.  I don't live in Cumberland so what are the chances of finding any family announcements or accident notices in the Whitehaven News.  It just seems unusual circumstances.  Any thoughts appreciated.

Thank You.
Sandra

I hope to be in the RO tomorrow - If you can send a pm of details you have I'll see if I can find anything.  I've already jotted down the burial (George Minnican), but as I'll only manage a couple of hours I can't promise a long time on the "News" as if it was an accident it may have been after inquest etc. so a gap between death & burial.
