Hey Alison Is It Well yeh I'm A Crawford Right And My Dad And Uncles Have A Lot i mean like rpetty much the whole family tree of our family thats if im related to you buht i know that my dad's related to Robert and George Crawford and Robert was actully born in 1776 not 1770 i know this because dad's got birth records..:)

It's been a long time away from this topic, but I see some recent posts here!  Hello to new cousins Nick and Mary-anne, from Abraham's line.

Cmcenaney, I sent you a private message, as you and my mum are quite closely related at 3rd cousins!

CrawfordKur13, your message above was intriguing ... from exactly *which* George do you descend?

I've moved and much of my genealogy is "away" for now, but I'm interested in knowing all you kinfolk and how we connect!

Hi Alison,
 :)
I'm doing the same - hunting down Abraham and his antecedents. I've got records of his marriage and death, but not his birth. He may have been born a Crawford, Crayford, Crawforth or Crawforthe.

Did you have any success in the last four years?

Graham Crawford, Adelaide

Abraham Crawford sailed to Tasmania with his brother Stephen from whom I am descended.  So there are many, many more relatives living in Tasmania descended from the Crawfords of Redbourne, Lincs.  Stephen Crawford settled at Spalford, near Sprent in Tasmania and called the area Redbourne which still applies today.  I am appreciating reading about the family line, and would be interested in knowing if anyone can contact me with more information.
