Robert Smith Bell

Can anyone shed any light on a family member located 1911. Robert Smith Bell (50) wife Laura Eliza (48) dau Martha Eagle (16) dau Laura (11) dau Florence (7) and Mother Frances Bell (67). All living at 160 hatfield rd Bolton. Robert and Frances were born in Methwold Norfolk.
I know this is a long shot but this is the first ancestor remaining in 1911 on my doorstep thereabouts! Any help welcome.

Not sure if this is of any help or not..The family seemed to have been based in Bolton,Lancs since at least 1886..
Q1 1886..Bolton.
Robert Smith Bell..to ..Laura Eliza Smallman.

I am not quite sure what you are looking for.
The Census in 1861 gives Robert  living with his Grandfather in Methwold aged 6 mths. I suspect the unmarried daughter also living at this address Fanny age 17 is Robert's mother.

In 1871 Robert is still living with his grandfather also the unmarried daughter now shown as Frances aged 26.

If you haven't any of this info I will sent you a more detailed Census description.

Sorry I was a little vague about just what I was looking for. I have traced the family up to 1911 and drawn a blank from then on. I am interseted in fiding Martha Eagle and her siblings. An hour after posting the request I think I found 2 deaths registered which may be Robert and Laura, Robert S Bell 1944 Bolton South and Laura E Bell 1940 Halliwell Bolton. Dates and area tally. Cannot find Frances between these dates in Bolton.

I have found a Martha E Bell married to Frederick Crossley in 1923(1) in Bolton     Ref  8c  695.

Possible children
George A Crossley  b.1928(3)  Clitheroe     ( mothers maiden name Bell )  Ref  8c  363
Anne C Crossley  b.1934(1)    Doncaster   (  mothers maiden name Bell )   Ref  9c  1273

Hi Greg.......If the family stayed in the Bolton area there are 2 POSSIBLE marriages..
Laura Bell.....married Bolton 1923 to Samuel E Entwhistle

Florence Bell...married Bolton 1928..to Fred Gee.
