please could these two girls be tidyed up

would some one be kind enough to clean up this photo it is marked a bit. also if anyone can shed any light on the uniform and date i would be gratefull.  thankyou, john.

POSTEES: If possible, PLEASE, scan your images at 300 - 600 dpi, for both ease of restoration and best results
RESTORERS: Feel free to change/improve/colour any restorations posted by myself.  Acknowledgment would be appreciated.

I can't help you with the date perse but the uniform reminds me of a maid's uniform from around the mid 1900's. Do you want the photo touched up physically or digitally?

hi Carolyn, Irene, thank you for your lovely work, they are much cleare now. hi bradleyt, I thought maybe maids, difficult to date, but deffinetely in the 1900s, wouldn't physically restoring a photo be a much to time consuming job,  thank you all for your help and hard work, john.
