Hi naleca (second cuz)

Your dad and my mum were full cousins, their respective dad & mother being brother and sister.
Let me start by asking what information have you got already, so that I can fill in your gaps (or gaping holes LOL), and also hopefully fill in some gaps I still have, e.g. your dad's and aunts DOB and spouses names, date of marriage, etc... I also need to know what sort of information do you want, i.e., info such as DOB, marriage and Death dates of direct ancestors only or do you want sibling and nephew/nieces names aswell, etc... some I can provide.

Also queries such as, where was your grandfather buried? I know your grandmother (Mary) was buried in the city cemetary in 1960, in a grave owned by her parents (William & Kathleen Quigley - plot PB165) but Joseph wasn't recorded as being buried there. [recent details removed]

There was a huge big age difference between Mary & Joseph - Joseph being born in 1888 and Mary being born in 1912/13, so when did they get married? Because of Mary's age, it couldn't have been until at least the late 1920s or early '30s. I know Mary was catholic but Joseph was presbyterian, so where did they get married? Joseph lived mostly around the Bonds Street area of the Waterside, ( and that's where they lived for a while - 8 Pine Street) so did they get married in the Waterside RC Church in Chapel Road or somewhere else?

I have been able to go right back to our GGG grandparents William Campbell & Allen Woods in your grandfather maternal (his mother's) side of the family. but only to our GG grandparent Robert Williamson on his paternal (father's) side, all hailing from various parts of Co. Tyrone. Our Great-Grandparents came to the Big City soon after they got married in 1885 as all their children were christened in the Waterside Presbyterian Church on Clooney Terrace, at the corner of Simpsons Brae.

I live in Perth, W. Australia at the moment but will going home for a visit over the New year. I intend to spend a day or two at the Records Office in Belfast so hopefully I will get more information then. If you still live in Derry/Londonderry maybe we could meet up and exchange information.

Until then tell me what you want and I will answer as much as I can
