Where to start on house/business history?
« on: Monday 15 June 09 17:24 BST (UK) »
My grandparents owned a grocery shop,  Darcy Stores in Tolleshunt Darcy, Essex.  While researching my family history, I came across an old postcard with a picture of Darcy Stores and the former owners.  This has started an interest in finding out about the tudor age building my grandparents lived and worked in.

Does anyone know where to start?

I'd go straight to the Archives - Essex Record Office / SEAX link ....
