Irish survivors medal
« on: Monday 15 June 09 05:22 BST (UK) »
I know that my grandfather was active in the Irish War of independence but am unsure if he ever collected a survivors medal. Is there a listing of this award in any government archive that I could search.

Many thanks

If you are a direct relative you may apply in writing to the Officer I.C. Records, Cathal Brugha Barracks, Rathmines, Dublin.
Regards.
