Lots of us Gotobeds in Norfolk. Had a relative who ran a bed shop in Little Snooring. Lots around Hunstanton, then Luton, Then near Reading, then Basingstoke and now New Milton.  More in America and Australia around Perth.

Which one has the massive inheritance we are all waiting for though?
 (Answers on the back of the £50 note please.)

Just seen this thread, my art teacher in the 60's was a Mr.Gotobed, at Scunthorpe Grammar School as it was then.

I too have a Gotobed in my tree, she married my ancestor Sennitt and they were both from Cambridge. My Sennitt's originate from Cottenham and then Frances b.1685 married Damaris Reade from/in Stretham and down the line further i have a Sennitt m. to Gotobed. Will have to get the tree out to confirm christian names etc.,
