Hello Gilbert. Yes there are two. If you go to the first posting you will see that I have given a list of surnames.
Here are yours :-

Sacred to the memory of Jane Matthews, wife of Thomas Mathews of West Auckland and only daughter of George and Rachel Wade of the same place, who with Christian fortitude and resignation departed this life May/6/1822 age 37 years.

In memory of Thomas Matthews late of Heighington who died on the 30/January/1864 aged 84 years.

Hello Jean.

In memory of George Milburn of Crook who died July/8/1869 age 73 years.
Also Jane wife of the above who died June/3/1852 age 55 years.
Also Elizabeth Stonebanks daughter of the above who died at Evenwood, Sep/3/1851 aged 26 years.
Also Barbara Milburn daughter in law of the above who died at Evenwood, ???/1870 age 36 years.
The rest of the stone is below ground level and unable to read.

Adam

Adam .. sorry to bother you again ... but I was wondering if you have any idea which cemetery the above 'stone is in.

I've been raking round the nettles in Evenwood this morning ... but no luck.

A lady did say that quite alot of headstones were taken away a few years ago so I'm wondering if it's gone. .... do you know when the inscriptions were taken?

If it's not in Crook and not in Evenwood... oh ..I also had look round St Mary's at Cockfield and was going to go on to West auckland.....but decided to get some fish and chips instead .... lol

Hello Jean. Yes I know it is at St Helen Church, West Auckland because it took a long time for me to complete those inscriptions. If you go through the oldest (nicely kept) part of the churchyard to the back of the church (not so nicely kept) you will fine the Stone. How can I describe it? Lets say it is Norman arch shape. It is in good condition although you may have to do a little gardening to find the date at the bottom of the stone. There are only 308 stones in total but I think you will find it OK. Let me know when you do.
