Re: Monumental Inscriptions St Helen Auckland...Wade?

Hello!

most of my northern ancestors seem to come from Bishopthorpe in York, but the mother of my 4xg grandmother was born in Gainford.

Posted below what I found about what is presumably her, but I also see that her father, Henry, is said to be a 'native of Paddock Mire St H Auckland'...first link I have to any of my family from there.

Pretty sure Henry's grandfather & father were Joseph & Robert (m Ann Kirkham) respectively, but wondered whether if any M.I's indicate any longer establishment of 'my' Wades in the area?

Much obliged for any information on offer!

Hello Tomatillo. Sorry there are no Barron gravestones at West Auckland.
On my long list I included the Barron entry for Stanley that was just after West Auckland.
I have since corrected the entry.

Adam

Hello Doric. Already posted on post number 8.

I keep saying to people who request look ups to read the posts first because there is an awful lot of information already posted and they may get a pleasant surprise with what is already there.

Adam

Hi again Adam,

My apologies - I seemed to have missed that one, but thanks for taking the trouble to reply.
