Hi JacquiM,
Welcome to RootsChat

I don't know that this is going to be easy. There are two baptisms of a Joseph Moody recorded in West Tytherley at around the same time:
Joseph, son of Joseph 24 Mar 1748
Joseph son of Joseph 4 Apr 1750
The record that you have quoted from the IGI is a submitted record and should be treated with caution. The two above are extracted records.
There is a burial in West Tytherley on 19 March 1748 of a Joseph Moody, but no age is given. There are two further burials in West Tytherley for Joseph Moody:
Joseph Moody aged 81, 21 Sep 1832 (born circa 1751)
Joseph Moody aged 65 2 Dec 1813 (born circa 1748)
I don't know where these two were born but it seems as if there is potentially more than one Moody family with a Joseph. West Tytherley and Sherfield English also sit right on the border of Wiltshire, so further digging in neighbouring parishes there may not go amiss.
There are two marriages in West Tytherley for Joseph Moody in the late 1700s:
Joseph Moody married Francis Lanham 14 Feb 1780
Joseph Moody married Mary Baker 30 Jun 1788
There is no indication that this was the same person, no note that the second was a widower. Joseph & Frances have children baptised into the 1790s, a couple baptised in Broughton before turning up in West Tytherley. Joseph & Mary have their children baptised in Sherfield English - except two of them seem to be baptised before the marriage. I wonder if this means there is another Joseph & Mary Moody around?
