HELP!! I need somebody to point me in the right direction.

I'm checking out a tentative link between my family in Caherdaniel and a townland near Dunmanway.

The birth date would be approx 1804 so the Parish registers aren't any help.
I cannot find a census or anything similar for the years 1895 - 1901.

Where do I go from here?? Are there any publications which may help??

not sure about the dates you mention .. birth of 1804, census... 1895 - 1901, but the Co. Cork 1911 Census data is included in the National Archives website at : http://census.nationalarchives.ie/

The 1901 data is due to be added later in the year.

Thanks for that...excellent news about the 1901 because I it looks like my lot may have left before the 1911 census.
