Hi
I'm currently researching the Dudleys in my family and your post about Eliza caught my eye because of the reference to William GUILFORD Dudley - it is the spelling of Guilford that is important.
Guilford is a "family" name in my family and is said to originate from or be associated with Sir Guilford Dudley and the Dukes of Northumberland. That may just be a romantic dream.
However, and more pertinent to you perhaps is the following line:
William and Margaret Dudley had 4 children - William, Margaret, Jane (dob abt 1829 and my ancestor) and Elijah (or Eleazah). I wonder if their son William is your William Guilford Dudley - given Jane's dob it would fit with your time lime.
Jane's great grandson was GUILFORD Ronald Edwards (my great uncle Ron - I am also related to Jane directly through my grandfather whose sister married said great uncle Ron, we don;t have two heads despite the sanguinity)
Best wishes
Alison
