There's also an oil lamp, I wonder if that was when you had to nip out in the dark to the outside loo.....
She looks a smashing person, I wish she was mine.
I'm no good with ages, but I will say, in the one with the locket she looks much more care worn than in the one with the little un....though by photo and frocks they are clearly years apart.
Perhaps the loss of great uncle was bearing down on her at the time.
