CENSUS RECORDS
« on: Sunday 07 June 09 23:34 BST (UK) »
Hi from Australia,
A couple of months ago someone on this board mentioned that Canadian cesus records would be available online from 1st June. Does anybody know anything about them? I am after records for St John from 1858 to 1867 when my GG Grandmother was there. I have been searching every link that I can find on these boards with no results, I think they may have been lost in the fire that I have heard about.

Thanks mum mum

Thanks Ian.

I've been lusting over thumbing through the 1871 & 1861 Nova Scotia censuses and was hoping it might show up on LAC since I don't have access to Anc****y.  Guess I wander down to the public library tomorrow.

Hi again
Do they show St John New Brunswick in the 1860's.
Mu GG Grandmother Susannah Williams had four children there with her husband John Williams, a sailor.
