Is there a Roman Catholic Church at Stranraer?
« on: Sunday 07 June 09 15:47 BST (UK) »
I have 8 children who were all born at Stranraer 1834-1846. I have been unable to trace then in `scotlandspeople`.
I now think the family might have originated in Ireland and could be Roman Catholics.
If there is a Roman Catholic Church in Stranraer (or nearby) could you tell me if the records are available on line please?
Thanks for any help and/or advice.

"As part of our commitment to making our archives more easily accessible, we have begun the process of uploading more than 10,000 pages of catalogues to the internet

They should be able to tell you if they have records covering the area and period in which you are interested.
