He is about the right age for a cyclist.

There are 43 R Cunninghams on the CWGC and only this one with a Fife connection:

Yes, this  Private Robert Cunningham is on the Lochgelly War Memorial under Scots Guards.  8)

A good spot.

The father, James, was born in Leslie abt 1872 and the two sons, Alex and Thomas, were born in Cowdenbeath abt 1893 and abt 1896 respectively.

Unfortunately, I can uncover no familial link with Robert as a cousin or otherwise.
