Guday mumma j - Renae let me know you had bobbed up so I thought to say hello. I guess you must be either Teddy or Don's daughter. I'm Alfred's son Mal. I had what I thought was Don's email and tried to contact some time ago but no answer. He was a trainer at Carlton I believe.
I'm not sure if Renae put you onto our tree on Geni but I'm sure she will as Dad's family was not very close in later years. Saw Auntie Flo at my sister Pat's place many years ago and she was always the closest. Uncle Wal at her funeral was our last contact.
I discovered Dad was married twice only this year through our chase for the family tree. I had always thought he played up and no more was said. I'm currently scanning mum's photos into a file to put on the web. They include a couple of Grandpa so may be of interest eventually. Give my regards to your dad. We played together as kids at odd times.

Hi, Yes I am Don's second daughter (of three)(Heather, Julie and Tracey). I don't have any contact with Ted's three girls (Susan, Linda and Donna). Dad  would like to get in touch. Rheumatoid arthritis and some heart and lung problems have seen him close to house bound lately. This has given him plenty of time to do research. He would like to get  Alfred's and William Snr's death certificates. For so long Pop (Wal) would not talk about family history. Too many painful memories. My daughter's upcoming trip visiting WWI sites has re-ignited the seach for our past. I only wish I could be with her at Helles, Gallipoli to remember Percy Owen. I hope the group gets plenty of photos.  Julie

Good stuff mumma J.  Sorry to hear your dad's not too well. We're all getting old or should I say elderly.
I can't give you my email here. Too many onlookers. So have a look here http://pigshome.synthasite.com which is a website I'm playing around with.
