Be wary using this resource. I have found many gaps. People who definitely lived in particulat arears are not listed. Indeed some names like Sludds (not too common) and Lowney do not produce any results although the families were in Wexford county in 1911.
Nicky

Nick,
I agree with you there. When researching a relative that I know was here in 1911, she was not on the census at all.

Mary. (frustrated - as usual!)
Kehoe: Canada, Chicago, Liverpool.
Parle:Liverpool, USA.

For the above I did find the use of wildcard letters useful. Rossiter was entered as Rossister but using R*s*t*r found it.
Sludds turned out as Sloods.
Happy hunting

Nicky, long time fan. Ordered your latest book from Kenny's Galway. I'm from Wexford, PA USA. Some coincidence. We've chatted years ago about Harpur's Lane. In the 1911 census listed under Harpur Street, there are two Rossiters listed with different spellings. You should have a look.

You have been consistent in all of your writings with the proper spelling of Harpur's Lane.  Until the census and griffiths came out online it was difficult proving the spelling. It is now crystal clear. I've been trying to convince the local authorities to change the name marker for Harpur's Lane which has been mispelled Harper.

Also Chronicles of Wexford County written by George Griffith in 1877 lists mayors of Wexford and Francis Harpur (3x time mayor) spelled with a 'u', while the Wexford Corporate site spells it with an 'e'. Very frustrating. The name Harpur is especiallly insycratic to Wexford.

I'm trying to establish a link between the Francis Harpur who  had the property along Harpur's Lane and the mayor and my family, Moses Harpur (Martin his father) of 55-57 S. Main Street.

Have just read your comments on the spelling of Harpur.  My father was a Harpur from Fishers Row.  Before I married I had so much trouble with the U and E.  On my baptismal certificate I was Harpur and also on the small birth certificate so that was the one I insisted on using, but last year I needed the full copy and when it arrived, the spelling was Harper.  What is it with Wexford.  Anne
