Thanks for posting the census Nick.  It will be so much easier for those away from Wexford Town.  Have Just found My Mum and her sister.  No wonder they were not on the English census, Gran had gone home to School Street while grandad was away at sea.  Anne

Glad it was useful.
I only gave the link.
It is a great resource regardless of whether you are abroad or in the sunny south east. I can see it encouraging lots more searches.

Be wary using this resource. I have found many gaps. People who definitely lived in particulat arears are not listed. Indeed some names like Sludds (not too common) and Lowney do not produce any results although the families were in Wexford county in 1911.

Have you tried a townland search for alternative spellings? Sometimes the family will be located in the correct place but their name transcribed differently.

Thanks a million - Sloods worked but the spelling is a mystery. It appears to have been completed by a family member but I knew some of them and they always signed the name as Sludds.
Any hints on Rossiter misspellings? I have tried Rossitter, Rositter. Rossiter etc.
Also Millar - tried with an E but still no joy.

I see a few Rossiter entries but other close matches I see are

 Ressiter, Rositer, Rosseter,

you can use wildcards to search for alternate spellings - for the above I selected Co. Wexford then put  R*s*r in the surname search. It will then search for any surname that begins with R, includes an S and ends with R...

for Millar - Mayler, Meller, Miller etc
