This confirms what I have from IGI - FamilySearch. Was any of your info from the parish records?

Yes, because of ages and area, that census is correct -  interestingly, Jabez and Betty are ALSO with their parents in 1841, James and Sarah in Hoghton.

I suppose since some people can be left off, some others can be on twice if they used to spend some time at each house
