Anyone have Maddens from Clarenbridge?

I have Peter Madden b abt 1838 Salt Hill ??? married to Bridget Larkin 1859 Clarenbridge.

Peter and Bridget left Galway, Ireland to London to New Zealand. Departed London on the ship "Celaeno" arriving in New Zealand 02 Feb 1872. They were accompanied by their three children, Mary, Thomas and Patrick.
John Joseph was born in New Zealand (possibly on board ship to NZ) he married Alice Emily Wingfield 1904, Bulls, New Zealand

Hi Kristina, I am related to all of these people. John Joseph Madden and Alice Emily Wingfield had Jack Madden, who was my father's dad.... ie my grandad. My father is (*) and my name is Janice (Jan). I live in Hamilton NZ and I have 6 children. I have just joined this chat thingy so I don't really know what to do. I am wondering how I am related to you.

hi,i to am related.Patrick madden born 10-3-1867 in Kilmacduagh,Ireland , was my great great grandfather a brother to John Madden 12-9-1872.

re to the first post my info is as follows
Peter Madden( patrick maddens father)  was born 1832 in the Ballenatane parish of  kilkerin county,Galway Ireland.his parents were Patrick Madden  and Bridget Larkin. it was this peter madden who married to Bridget Ann O'Flaherty(born 1835) that travelled to New Zealand on the 'Celano' arriving 2-2-1872 they settled in Napier.

Hi Kristina Peter and Bridget Madden are my great great grandparents.
I live in Napier New Zealand where they settled and where buried.


This is the information I have about them,
You will notice that Bridget's maiden name is different from Larkin
