Hi Ricky

Yes he is the one on the 1901 in Canton and also the one that says he was born in cardiff, the family were Romany Gypsies  so they travelled well up and down the country.

Yes very hard. the closest with age are the 8 year olds propriter seems a bit off,

Slack Lovell *The Welsh family tree can be traced back to Slack Lovell, born in the 1700s.  From him descended Major, Ladin, William, Tom, Frederick, Harriet, Charlotte and Trenit Lovell and their numerous offspring.

The Lovell circuit included Devon, Cornwall and Wales, with stopping places such as King Street in Plymouth (Cornwall), the Upper Race in Pontypool (Torfaen) and Brooks Field in Newport (Monmouthshire). The men dealt in knife-grinding, horse-trading and farmwork, whilst the women went from door to door selling pegs and flowers. As always, there was fortune-telling and playing music. "

The one of intreast is this Frederick whom married Carnation Lovell and travelled to north wales then down to the south wales. they had ten children william, john, henry, oli, Sabaina, lementina and Syrenda, sons llewelyn and josh emigrated to the states

In the later Census you can see Henry names two of his Daughters Carnation and Lementina

but its linking henry to Him
