can anyone find or tell me how to get a copy or read a newspaper death
notice. 12 9 1930  salford city reporter.

Ian,
 It's probably not digitalized as it's a fair way back in a local paper so maybe you could ask the salford Library if they have copies on film and would they do a lookup for you?   You have the exact date of the notice which will make a lookup easier.   Email the Library and ask.

If you go to or, contact by phone, the main library reference room in Salford.They should have the local papers on film that you will be able to see using a film reader.Hope this is of help

If they don't have the films at Salford, I'm pretty sure they have them at Manchester Central Library.
