baptism/birth of John Merrell (York) and Dorothy Bolton (Swaledale) Completed

Could anybody help with the birth/baptism of John Merrell born around 1772 York or Dorothy Bolton born around 1777 Swaledale . I have burial of John at Holy Trinity Micklegate York in 1827 aged 55. He married Dorothy Bolton or Boulton 24 Aug 1797 St Michael Spurriergate
I have found Dorothy in 1851 census living with her daughter Jane Pump Yard Micklegate York but have not managed to find either her birth or death.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Or anything on the Merrell family in York.

I have since visited the Borthwick Institute in York and found on the birth of one of their child John it states John Merrell born 1805 son of John Merrrell combmaker son of John Merrell combmaker, Dorothy Boulton daughter of John Boulton farmer of Swaledale (Muker).
