sorry for the delay - back from London now (and had a great time in Kew in the National Archive!)

20 Aungier St - J Moran, boot and shoe maker ... no 20a

under Gentry, traders etc, I see no Kavanagh in Aungier St, no L Kavanagh at all

under "photographers" I see no Kavanagh  and no-one in Aungier St

also at the same address is Richardson, merchant tailor and O'Toole commission agent

The name of the photographer has been cut off with a knife and the photo is actually upside down on the backing board so that the address is only partially visible.  On closer examination the "46" could be "16", "18""48" as only the top of the numerals are visible.  Henry Street is quite discernible and the name of the studio is in a typical flowing "curly" script which it is not possible to read as only the top of the capital letter at the beginning and a possible "L" or "H" as 3rd or 4th letter.

Very confusing I know.

The photographer you're looking for is Bobs of 16 Henry St.  I have a family photo in a light frame with the details embossed on it, probably the same frame as you have.  Apparently only there from 1908 to 1916.  Have a look at the first search result at this link:
