???
Hi new member would appreciate help!
trying to find a photo of Edwin Holbrook he was sworn in the Hull City Police on the 8th of April 1878 and given the no.197
Sadly Edwin drowned on duty on the 1st of August 1892 in the old harbour in Hull on the river Hull.
there was a couple of write ups in The Hull Daily Mail but no photo's that I know of, so any help would be very welcome.

Hi and welcome to rootschat.  :D

if you've tried the police archives and the newspapers reports, I can't see where else there would be a photo- excpet in a family collection and presumably you've asked around the family.
Not very cheery news but I think you'll be dead lucky to get a photo :(
