Looking for James Briggs b abt 1832 who would therefore be abt 9 -then 19 .in Pontefract .I'd like to see what family he was from if poss. He enetually had wife Sarah {? Hadfield }Briggs is very common in Ponte . In 1861 he was at Brough Hse Northgate with wife etc,
I would be so obliged if someone could help ?

I can see only one James Briggs of the right age in Pontefract

1841
HO107/1310/16 9 9
Pontefract, Yorkshire
North Gate
Ann Briggs, 35, Labourer
John, 14
James, 9
Ann, 6

All born in county

 :)

i have the 1841 census the same .

1851 living at back castle
ann age 45 widow
ann age 16
james age 19

in the 1871 census the briggs`s next door are my gg grandparents .
i have seen james many of time but cant connect him with mine as yet

james`s parents are james and ann .bap 25 dec 1831
