I have had similar experiences when visiting cemeteries, but never fail to be astonished when I've just about given up the search and suddenly found a family grave.
One particular afternoon I had been looking for the grave of my G.Grandparents, in an old churchyard, where many parts were steep and overgrown. I'd decided after looking at numerous headstones to give up and was making my way out of the churchyard when I 'found' them.
I could not believe that I'd chosen the exit route, which took me right by their grave... it's as if they had wanted me to find them
