Shenston is about 40 miles from Newcastle-under-Lyme:  Stonnal is about 35 miles from N-U-L.

I live in Stonnall (that's how we spell it) and would be happy to help if you could give me any more details- I have a bright, 85 year old neighbour who has lived around here all her life.

Hi

I did some research quite a while ago but had to give up when I got stuck on John Pass born c.1745 died 1845.
Could not find his birth in the Staffs records.

Hi Cati

I was interested to see that you have some detail of Henry Pass from Stonnal who married Lydia Boot in 1811.   Do you know who were his parents?   I cannot fit him in with the rest of the Pass family of Stonnal.   I am also trying to find more info on John Pass of Stonnal who died aged 85 on 27/08/1845.
I cannot find his birth nor confirm his marriage (maybe to Mary Coleburn at Wallsall in 1800).

Hi DJP

Sorry to take so long to reply....

I don't have any further details about Henry: nor have I fitted your John into my tree.

The Henry who married Maria Moseley was a gun stock maker in Birmingham:  Maria came from Leeds.
