Madeline was the third child of William Jonothan Rickard and Mary-Jane Burt.   She was born circa 1906.   Madeline married circa 1936 to a William Rowse who was a widower and a second cousin of William Jonothan Rickard.   He was 33 years older than her at the time of their marriage and he had a son Jack from a previous marriage.   Madeline and William had one child

Hi all  :)

Madeline seems to be on the 1911 census with a birth place St Columb (www.1911census.co.uk)

M E Rickard age 4. She had a twin brother Edward Cecil, apparently  :) 

 "My dear, I think the English pronounce it 'appiness"
