Light porter draper and groom
« on: Monday 21 February 05 15:01 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone tell me what would the occupation of "light porter draper" involve?  Also, what would a "groom" on the horse tramway do?
Thanks!

Diva perhaps your ancestor was a Porter, fetching and carrying but working for a Draper.

The groom probably would have looked after the horse or horses.
