Please could someone look up the Christening records for Henry Garton born 1814 in Huddersfield?  I would be really grateful to find out who his parents were.

Many thanks everyone for trying to help.   Henry Garton was born in Huddersfield in 1814.   He married Jane Firth.   He died on 30th June 1870.  I am unable to go back further.   The Gartons' were plumbers in Huddersfield for several generations.   I find a George Garton's Christening record on Ancestry who I believe is Henry's son, see below, and would like to know if Samuel was his grandfather, i.e. Henry's father.   Jane Firth died 11th Dec. 1900, her parents were George & Mary, both born 1801, and that is as far as I can go.

England & Wales Christening Records, 1530-1906
Birth, Marriage & Death
Name:  George Garton
Father:  Henry Garton
Other:  Samuel Garton
Birth:  date

Many thanks for any help

hello again

You could always obtain the marriage cert and see if the that gives a clue as to the name of Hy's father.
